The third and fourth graders hosted the “Mochi in June Café” as part of their English (Discovery & Communication) class. During their lessons, the students discussed, planned, and prepared for the event entirely in English. They then invited students from other grades to visit the café as customers. On the day, the event was also held entirely in English, giving students a meaningful opportunity to use their language skills in a real-life setting. They served delicious mochi desserts, including their original creation, “Dorayaki Mochi,” and had a wonderful time interacting with their guests.

3・4年生は、英語（Discovery & Communication）の授業の一環として、「Mochi in June Café」を開催しました。授業では、イベントについての話し合いや企画、準備を全て英語で行い、他学年の生徒をお客さんとしてカフェに招待しました。当日のカフェもすべて英語で運営され、子ども達にとって、学んだ英語を実際の場面で活用する貴重な機会となりました。オリジナルメニューの「どら焼きもち」をはじめとする、おいしいもちスイーツを提供し、お客さんとの交流を楽しみながら、素敵な時間を過ごしました。
